How to add metafields for this area.

  1. From your Shopify admin page, click settings -> Custom Data
  2. Then click 'Products'
  3. Click 'Add definition'
  4. Under Name type in Shipping & Returns
  5. Click 'Select Type' then 'Multi-line text'
  6. Click save.
  7. From the 'Product template page', select shipping and returns tab
  8. Next to the row content is an icon for dynamic source. Click that.
  9. Select 'Product' then shipping and returns.
  10. Your template is now connected to your product data.
